The Breathe-Well and Life Saver Energy buckets will now be available to farmers across the UK via the Group's national salesforce. 'Both of these buckets have a proven track record in parts of Scotland which are covered by our LMF sales managers but we now feel that the benefits they can offer have wider appeal and a role to play on most livestock farms so we are rolling them out across the business', said Group R&D Director. James Brinicombe.

Respiratory disease costs UK cattle farmers £60 million a year, partly from treatment costs & mortality; however the biggest financial losses come from reduced daily liveweight gain during illness and beyond. The Breathe-Well bucket contains Fyto-RESPIRATORY, a combination of essential oils and plant extracts to aid a healthy respiratory system. The bucket also contains a comprehensive spectrum of trace elements, vitamins and minerals to support general well-being and growth, says Mr Brinicombe.

The Life-Saver Energy bucket has an ME value of 17MJ/Kg, which sets it apart from other energy products on the market. The main source of energy comes in a protected form by combining fatty acids so that it has no rumen inhibiting factors and can provide a direct and immediate source of energy to the animal. This along with a full trace element, vitamin & mineral package make this bucket particularly ideal for sheep in a winter feeding situation.

'We believe these two products will have an immediate impact with our existing customers and help expand our product portfolio to help provide solutions to common health issues that are found on many farms', concludes Mr Brinicombe
