Today the Denis Brinicombe Group releases a new product onto the UK market.

Grainsave Triple Action is an essential grain treatment that will
• Eliminate drying costs
• Halt the growth of moulds, stopping the production of mycotoxins
• Reduce dust

Grainsave Triple Action is a unique formulation of almost pH neutral organic and inorganic acids together with a surfactant to create a chemical treatment which will act as a preservative post harvest for up to twelve months or that can be used, later in the season, to condition a dry grain for rolling.

Following either treatment the grain will roll well into individual grains considerably reducing dust, maintaining grain integrity and feed value. Once rolled, the grain will remain stable and suitable for feeding for up to six weeks.

Immediate post harvest treatment with Grainsave Triple Action will eradicate mites, which can be carriers of mycotoxins, along with mould spores and bacteria, throughout the storage period or, if mites become a problem later in the year, Grainsave Triple Action can be used to clean up the crop.

"Grainsave Triple Action is a valuable addition to our grain preservative range improving on-farm storage with the added advantage of complete traceability", said James Brinicombe, Company Director.

"Now we can offer our customers the opportunity to harvest grain at the optimum ripening time giving them more flexibility during the harvest period.  As we saw last season high fuel cost lead to high drying costs but by using the appropriate quantity of Grainsave Triple Action the grain can be stored effectively, without drying, saving both time and money. And being almost pH neutral it is safe for operators to use and will not harm or damage machinery", he concluded.

Grainsave Triple Action is a product that will save both time and money at harvest time with no drying requirement and later on when up to six weeks supply of feed grain can be rolled and stored for use later.

Additionally, using this proven, cost effective, treatment system a farmer can supply their stock with high quality, dust free grain knowing that it is free of moulds with the associated problems caused by mycotoxins and mite infestations.
